01 · The budget
Every club gets 100 CR and must sign at least 24 players. The moment the auction opens, it is split in two.

02 · How the auction works
76 CR is open for competitive bidding. 24 CR is reserved for completing the squad.
Your bidding power for any player is your auction budget plus the 1 CR reserved for that player's slot.
Each signing uses its slot's 1 CR. Only the amount above 1 CR comes out of the auction budget.

The one formula to remember
Maximum bid = B + 1
Maximum bid = Auction budget + 1 CR
After buying for P:
24 is a minimum, not a maximum. From 24 players on, nothing is reserved: max bid = all money left.
03 · Retention & direct signing
Before bidding starts, every club may lock in up to two players. Each one is paid for out of the budget, and the second costs twice as much as the first.

The 1 CR-per-slot rule still applies. A kept player already fills a slot, so you only protect 1 CR for each player you still need to reach 24.

The auction budget is 0, but 20 CR is still protected for the 20 empty slots. The team can't compete for expensive players any more — it finishes the squad at 1 CR per player.

Retaining one player costs 6 CR, so the club starts on 94 CR. Lamine Yamal already fills a slot, so only 23 CR needs protecting. That leaves 71 CR to bid with and a maximum first bid of 72 CR.
Vortex FC makes two direct signings, then buys a player for 30 CR.

07 · FAQ
So every club can always finish its 24-player squad. 1 CR is kept for each slot, so no matter how much you spend early, the money to complete the squad is still there.
Only 1 CR of it — the 1 CR belonging to the slot that player fills. The rest stays locked for your other empty slots.
That is the highest possible first bid. Your auction budget drops to 0, 23 CR stays protected for 23 slots, and every remaining signing must be 1 CR.
No. A 1 CR signing is paid entirely from that slot's protected 1 CR. Your auction budget stays exactly the same.
Maximum bid = remaining auction budget + 1 CR. With 50 CR of auction budget left, you can bid up to 51 CR.
Yes, as long as some auction budget is left. With 4 CR left you can bid up to 5 CR. Only at 0 CR are you limited to 1 CR bids.
You can still sign players, but for 1 CR each, paid from your protected budget, until you reach 24 players.
It guarantees every team has enough money to complete its squad. Which players each team ends up with still depends on the auction itself and the Season 09 allocation rules.
Normal auction rules apply — the highest valid bid wins. No team can ever bid above its own maximum (auction budget + 1 CR).
Yes. Press “Reset simulation” at any time to go back to the starting budget and an empty squad. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
No — 24 is the minimum. Once you have 24 players the reserve has done its job and is released, so every CR you have left can be bid. You can keep signing extra players until your money runs out.
The 1st player you keep costs 6 CR and the 2nd costs 12 CR. So you go into the auction with 100, 94 or 82 CR, depending on whether you keep 0, 1 or 2 players.
Yes. They fill squad slots, so you need fewer players from the auction and less budget is protected. Keep 2 and you need 22 more, with 22 CR protected.
